Yes!!! We believe the Bible is authoritative in all matters pertaining to this life and the next! “Testament,” means “testimony,” and we observe people in both Testaments fail, starting with Adam, and they obtain God’s grace, which is necessary for us to cooperate with His plan for our lives.   

“Separation of church and state” neither appears in the Bible nor in the US Constitution. The Bible teaches that God does not separate himself from nations, but judges or blesses them, based upon whether or not, they honor his commandments.  America was founded as a Christian nation. This is verified by the 1620 Mayflower Compact, The 1776 Declaration of Independence and the 1791 Bill of Rights that begins with “freedom of religion.”

We must not mistake “separation of church and state,” as Biblical truth! God does not command Christians to obey every government order.  If so, none of these miracles would have occurred: a) Hebrew boys surviving a fiery furnace, b) Daniel a lions’ den, nor c) Queen Esther seeing a Divine reversal of genocidal circumstances.

Isaiah 9:6 says, “The government shall be upon His shoulders,” and Acts 5:29 shows us how “Peter and the Apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.”

Jesus also would not have overturned the money changers tables in the Temple. Peter and Paul and others would not have been liberated from prisons.  Christians today wouldn’t be persecuted for not cooperating with Scripture violating edicts.

Jesus is Lord of every aspect of our lives! We believe, therefore, our discipleship is manifested in every area and aspect of our personal and civic lives, and not just in our church activities.

The Bible shows God gave Israel a kingdom in this world. Israel is a model for how God deals with all nations. They are supposed to honor God in their personal lives, citizenship responsibilities, and in the public offices they occupy.  America’s Founders followed this model, and America was blessed.

It is true. LCF will not unify with what will not acknowledge and submit to the Lordship of Christ!  In John, 14:6, Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father but  by me.” The term “no one” is pretty exclusive. The challenge with non-Biblical religions is they will not tolerate the exclusivity of Jesus Christ.

No, we cannot ignore the Old/First Testament, because it details and illustrates the discipleship processes stated in the principles taught in the New Testament.

We teach expository sermons, line by line through entire books of the Bible. Often Scripture shows violations of God’s eternal, moral Ten Commandments Law, and we frequently point that out, but that is not the focus of every sermon and teaching.

This church is composed of individuals (members) who:

• Publicly and truthfully confess that they have accepted Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord of their lives.
• Agree that the Liberty Christian Fellowship Church is the local body through which they will serve and worship God.
• Agree to service with their time, talent and treasure.
• Agree to abide by its covenant and administrative policies.
• Have been or will be water baptized.
• Sign an agreement attesting the above.

Membership in Liberty Christian Fellowship Church will provide the following privileges and responsibilities:

• Attendance at general church meetings and functions.
• The opportunity to provide input regarding matters brought before the church elders ad deacons.
• The aid, comfort, support and prayers of the church in the following areas:
  • Spiritual growth
  • Physical needs
  • Financial needs
