Minnesota Catholic School Shooting Reaffirms Our Need To Publicly Post The Ten Commandments
My response to the latest school shooting, which targeted Catholic school children in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is Post The Ten Commandments In Public Spaces!
America’s struggle involves people who have a Ten Commandments value system, believing it’s wrong to assault and murder others, and those who feel it’s their right to do so.
The Ten Commandments Enumerate Our Natural, Inalienable Rights
When God says we should not murder, steal from, lie to or about, nor covet what others have, He is giving everyone the natural and inalienable right not to have those tings happen to them.
In The Absence of The Ten Commandments There’s No Right & Wrong, Just Sickness & Health
When horrendous mass sin occurs, people on the left blame the guns. People on the right decry mental illness, and call for more treatment. For every perpetrator whom we say “the system” has failed or who has a particular diagnosis and sins against others, there are many more people in the same situations who don’t harm others.
From Every Thought We Get A Feeling Better Thoughts Lead To Better Feelings
The challenge with feelings is that if they continue long enough, we tend to act on them. Because we get emotional responses from our thoughts, thinking the Ten Commandments gives us emotional restraint against breaking them.
To impact people’s behavior, the Bible says we refresh our minds with Biblical thoughts. Romans 12: 1-2, says, “… be transformed by the renewing of your mind… .” Reading the Bible tends to produce emotions that are consistent with the Bible’s “Fruit of the Spirit.” These include love, joy, peace and patience, the fabulous four emotions that greatly enhance human life!
Jesus explains in Matt 5:22 that His Holy Spirit will work in us to avoid overloading on negative emotions, like anger, that drive us to commit murder.
Because Biblical knowledge stabilizes mental health, I believe a solution to people venting their feelings by murdering others who have done them no personal harm is to post the Ten Commandments in public spaces.
I hope you see the logic of my reasoning and join my quest!

LCF exists to glorify God, through Our Savior, Jesus Christ, and teach how He reveals Himself from Genesis through Revelation, and how we respond to Him as disciples, who can apply His Bible to every aspect of life, including civics!
LCF stands in the gap to advocate for our God-given, “inalienable rights,” which God secures through The 10 Commandments, and which are referenced in The Declaration of Independence, as our inalienable rights to not be murdered, sexually molested, stolen from, lied to nor about, nor have our person’s, people, positions and possessions coveted by evil people who would use government power to deny us the blessings God bestows on us! Those rights also include our Ten Commandments 1-4 rights to worship God privately and publicly, according to the way He stipulates, and we have number 5 parental rights for our family sanctity.
