Hello radio listeners, this is Pastor EW welcoming you to today’s segment in our current series, called The Divine Decalogue for Dynamic Decency, which illustrates the 10 Commandments in positive paraphrases, so we better understand the benefits that God’s righteousness provides for us, our families, our communities and our nation.

Today, we’ll discuss how The Root Determines the Fruit, and we are learning to apply God’s commands, by seeing specifically how they are the roots of all Godly behaviors that produce the fruits of righteousness, which God blesses.  We are showing how God blesses nations when their Christian people and those they either elect or allow to get into gov’t and political power each operate according to God’s 10 Commandments.  Nations get blessed when those in their gov’ts, educational systems and the media treat US according to the 10 Commandments.

Remember, the 10 Commandments express both God’s love and justice.  For if I love you, I will not murder, nor steal, nor lie to or about you, nor will I covet your person, your people, your job position, nor your possessions (meaning both what you inherit and earn.), and if want to fulfill God’s justice in our relationship, I also won’t do these things to you.

If I want to express both God’s love and cooperate with what He calls justice, I also will not try to impede you from worshipping God publicly to fulfill 10 Commandments 1-4. True social justice encourages, and empowers us to worship God in the ways He says He wants to be worshipped in 10 Commandments 1-4.

[bctt tweet=”Remember, the 10 Commandments express both God’s love and justice.” username=”LibertyCF3″]Psalm 32:12 says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for His inheritance.”  Any nation wherein both the people and the leaders honor God, is a nation where people treat each other according to the 10 Commandments, and other Biblical principles, like “turn the other cheek,” “love your neighbor as you love yourself,” “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Prov 29:2 (KJV) says “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”  This means when citizens, those in the government, the media, the educational system, and in the not-for-profit Non-Gov’t Organization sector operate and treat US according to God’s commandments, the people enjoy much better lives.

Remember 2 Chron 7:14 provides us with an If – Then Proposition.  Being blessed as a nation only happens when we believers act with Godly purpose to discern 1) What’s God’s Truth Is; 2) How It Applies in Every Aspect of Our lives and 3) How We Can Be Used Of God In Every Situation to Act In Accordance With His Commands – which express the way God wants us to live.

Living by God’s Commandments and applying them to every aspect of life, is how a nation gets blessed to be “Lifted Up In Liberty.” [email-download-link namefield=”YES” id=”149″]
