5F or Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that the person who does the commandments shall live by them. 6But the righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) 7“or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

(3) Rom 10: 6 — We Can’t Ascend Into Heaven On Our Own Ability to Keep God’s Law
No one can Ascend Into Heaven On The Apparatus of Our Own Works of Righteousness
Romans 10:6 tells us that if we are living by trusting in the righteousness that is by faith, we are not to say ‘Who will ascend (I go up, mount, rise, spring up,) into heaven?'” (that is, to bring Christ down – from His position as seated and raised with God in the Heavenliness )

This Righteousness =
- of which God is the source or author, and
- it is a practical divine righteousness that properly meets judicial approval.
- Practical means:
- concerned with the actual doing rather than with theory and ideas
- designed to succeed or be effective in real circumstances
- suitable for a particular purpose
- sensible and realistic in a situation or in response to a problem
So, to paraphrase: “If we want to live practically within God’s judicial approval of righteousness, we have to rely upon His righteousness that comes by faith. AND … we cannot rely upon how much or how little we keep God’s law. Relying upon our own abilities is like thinking we can one of two things:
To “Ascend” is negative term for aggressive self-effort in opposition to God’s prescribed will. In Isaiah 14:13 Satan attempted to “ascend and exalt himself above God.

As Mary received the Savior, so too must we all. As Christ was born in her womb, Christ must be born again in each of us!
(10) Walk Thru The Word: Matt 4: 15-17
The Kingdom of God Is Near At Hand 
13And leaving Nazareth he went and lived in Capernaum by the sea, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali, 14so that what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:
15“The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles— 16the people dwelling in darkness have seen a great light, and for those dwelling in the region and shadow of death, on them a light has dawned.” 17From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Darkness = ignorance of divine things, and its associated wickedness, and the resultant misery!
Light = the manifestation of God’s self-existent life; divine illumination to reveal and impart life, through Christ.
(11) Let’s Pray that God ReAwakens, ReInvigorates & ReEstablishes Us in Our Calls In Christ!
