Testimonials
A testimony is a person’s declaration of the facts surrounding how he/she came to realize that John 3:16 applies to them, when they acknowledged that Christ, 1) was born of a virgin; 2) lived a sinless life, 3) died a substitutionary death; 4) was bodily resurrected and 5) is seated at the right hand of God, is his/her Lord and Savior!
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Our testimony affirms that we believe Christ’s death counts for the payment of death we each owe God for our sin per Romans 6:23, which says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Each of our stories is somewhat different about how we came to the realization that Christ is Lord, and provides the love, peace and joy that some of us thought we could find in sex, drugs and rap’n’roll or in pride, prosperity and power!

Jan Keenan’s testimony is the story of a boat that seemed gone for good, but after she stepped out in faith, it was unexpectedly recovered nearly two years later and became known as “Free Indeed.” What started as the recovery of a stolen boat became something much bigger as Jan used its story to share her faith and encourage others, even helping lead one man to Christ. Years later, she unexpectedly crossed paths with the boat again in a way that convinced her even more that God had been working through the story all along, turning what looked like coincidences into what she called “God-incidences.”
