In Ten Commandment 6, when God says, “Thou shall not murder,” He is giving everyone the natural right to not be murdered. Western civilization is built from a Ten Commandments value system. America became the pinnacle of how Biblical Christianity civilized the Western World.
The “thou shall’s and the thou shall not’s” express what America’s Declaration of Independence references as “inalienable rights. Our historical buildings reflected the “thou shall’s” by Bible verses, symbols and images carved into their facades by architectural design! Even the US Supreme Court building has a relief of Moses holding the Two Tablets that contain the supreme societal laws by which God wants mankind to be governed. Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26 proclaim that God blesses with strength and stability nations that honor Him in every aspect of life, especially in their civic governance.
Proclaiming God has “separated Himself from the affairs of state,” or “deists” founded America is an insult to the God of the Bible, who inspired His “Historical Body of Christ to “ApplyThe Bible To Civics” (see my FB page so named) to construct the Judeo-Christian culture which became the USA. It is historical revisionism, ignorance or deceit. For it denies Bible-believing Pilgrims wrote the 1620 Mayflower Compact, which pledged to govern the New World in compliance with Biblical directives. It also denies Bible-believing Christians wrote the 1776 Declaration of Independence that proclaims the Biblical Creator is the author of our rights. So much courage does God give Judeo-Christian believers that the Declaration’s signers, actually staked their lives on that document, which is a Christian doctrinal statement of “how the Bible applies to civics.”
There both are Ten Commandments and ten Bill of Rights — codified in 1791 by the same members of the “Historical Body of Christ” who founded America’s Bible-based culture. Each of the Bill of Rights are designed to compel people occupying America’s government positions to treat we-the-people according to God’s Ten Commandments.
