Erika Kirk, Caitlin Clark & The Need To Re-Cultivate American Culture

On this July 4, 2026, I have to admit that I normally am an optimistic person, but lately have been  downcast over the state of our nation. Events surrounding the names of the two people in the title of his episode are why I am feeling apprehensive about America and its future.

By Their Fruit You Shall Recognize Them

LUUIL Erika Kirk, Caitlin Clark & The Need To Re-Cultivate American Culture (7-4-26)

(Matt 7:16 & 20, Matt 12:33, Luke 6:43-45) Though I have been at several TPUSA events, I met Charlie Kirk (CK) in March 2025. Our 5-6 minute discussion was about prior to the election of President Donald Trump, how close America was to a 100% midnight, 0’Dark Zero, complete takeover of our politics and the abuse of government power to enforce complete violations of the Ten Commandments and the US Constitution against we-the-people. Charlie said, there were too many people in his organization that I stated “Don’t think like we think and don’t feel like we feel,” to which he agreed.

I became skeptical of Erika Kirk and the new leadership with which she has surrounded herself at TPUSA when within two weeks of her husband’s death she was heard on audio being giddy about merch sales and giving kudos, saying his funeral was them “pulling off calling the event of the century!” My evaluation of the video of her from behind in a white suit with fireworks marking her entrance, is that when she puts her hand up to her face, in my opinion, she is thinking, “I made it; I have arrived; an audience of this size is what I have been waiting for my entire life. Wow! All this is focused on me!” Then she reminds herself to try to get back into performance mode, because the occasion calls for the appearance of solemnity, and, in my opinion, she does her best, but the performance did not convince me of her sincerity.

She publicly forgave someone who has not been convicted in a court of law, and who will be on trial for evidence that does not appear to be legitimate from my perspective and opinion. Listen to it for yourself using this link: https://twitter.com/i/status/2016323405125963895

Her comments that she is convinced of his guilt leads me to question: “Is she trying to do away with he who appears to be a patsy? What is the state of the conscience and emotions of someone who perhaps is violating legal protocols for a fair trial and makes such statements? Does she think she is above the law? Does she think the rules of due process and evidence are going to bend to comply with her public performance?

I appreciated how brilliant and articulate CK was about cultural influences. I heard him say that Nicki Minaj was a negative influence on young people, especially young black girls because of her sexually explicit lyrics. Yet, I was put off by how at the next TPUSA conference following her death Erik Kirk (EK) interviewed Nicki Minaj on stage! When Minaj made what in my opinion either were inappropriate and/or revealing comments about VP Vance being a brilliant handsome assassin, and then wincing and putting her hand over her mouth, EK tries to cover for her, with reference to Bible verses that are irrelevant to the issue.

EK also says, to Nicki Minaj “I know your heart.” That is something Disney has taught the world — as its characters say, “Follow your heart.” The Bible, however, tells us in Jeremiah 17:9-10 9The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? 10“I the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.” Humans cannot know what is in another person’s heart. According to the Bible, if we actually know what is in another’s heart from God’s perspective, it isn’t good. I have been on many boards that have failed in their initiatives because those breaking the protocols of the processes that could lead to success, do so claiming they are looking at another person’s heart.

Regardless of what EK says, such as, “This woman has a heart for the Lord,” unless Nicki Minaj repents and becomes born again in Christ and denounces her former music that glorifies sex, which encourages violations of Ten Commandment seven, her fruit indicates an unregenerate heart, in my opinion. It seems to me there are too many people making excuses regarding EK’s behavior, saying she grieves differently, and that people who criticize her are trying to undermine her. Having attended conferences, I spoke with people who worked for TPUSA who, in my estimation, did not have the rock solid Ten Commandments value system that CK had. It appears now to me the people running the organization are taking it in a different direction from the values CK consistently espoused — while they try to use the cache his name carries by taking over his show that bears it, as if we are to believe that whatever they now say is what CK would say. I am not buying that at all! — especially with what in my opinion are the soft-minded faux “Christainese” and misrepresentations of Scripture coming from those who now claim to speak for him.

A Pivot To The WBA

I always have had a distaste for bullies, which is why I have concerns about what I have seen with EK pushing out long term loyal TPUSA employees, and what I have witnessed in how certain WBA players, referees and league management have treated Caitlin Clark (CC). My opinion is that people who have a Ten Commandments value system would work to prevent assaults, not make excuses for them, nor ignore them. I have watched what appears to me to be intentional, purposeful physical assaults that blindside CC with deliberate hip thrusts, elbows to her face, pokes in the eye, pushes from behind, trips and now a knee to the groin and a fist to the throat while she is on the ground and the ball out of the play! Every human being, even a white heterosexual girl who plays basketball extremely well has the God-given, natural, inalienable right to not be assaulted. The reason to avoid assaults is because one never knows which one may end in violating Ten Commandment six, and murdering someone.

Perhaps me advocating for CC to be treated according to the Ten Commandments seems counterintuitive in a league populated by homosexual females, whose acts appear to be a concerted effort to deliberately injure one who arguably is the best player the league has seen in my lifetime. Seeing her mistreated, in my opinion, seems profoundly un-American! What is consistent with America’s founding principles and activities, which included George Whitefield preaching “You must be born again,” during Americas first Great Awakening, is for the Spirit of God to move through the WBA and cause a repentance accompanied by conversions whereby people trust Christ for their salivation, and thus become born again, and commit their lives as disciples of Christ.

I pray that our nation in general and both TPUSA and the WBA specifically are invigorated with a Ten Commandments value system. Those Commandments enumerate our God-given, natural, inalienable rights. I explain that in detail here: https://libertycf.org/3br/

Revival Requires A Return To Understanding The Biblical Basis of The Bill of Rights

On this 250th birthday of our beloved USA, let’s revive the Biblical value system in which it was founded. Movements that claim to be conservative and patriotic that lack linking the Ten Commandments to our inalienable rights amount to nothing more than, “Rah, rah, we need more God in government.” Those movements leave us vulnerable to be swayed by, and to become victims of, those who have gods other than the God of the Bible, Who secures our Ten Commandments rights. May God bless US (pun intended) to know the difference, and the grace to fall on our knees before Him, and implore Him to work in us and make us the kind of people whom He can revive in such a time as this.

Join my movement to post the Ten Commandments in public spaces, so everyone knows what God’s rules are, and the basis upon which He will judge us. In my opinion, that is the only way to guarantee our beloved USA will enjoy many more birthdays.

Please feel free to share your opinions about these things.
